Rain Dove by Rain Dove

Rain Dove is an acoustic duo from Delft that was founded in 2019.
The members are Paula Devilée on vocals and René Meester on guitar.

Rain Dove plays songs from the English and American folk canon in a
subtle and appealing way. The songs come, inter alia, from the repertoire
of Joni Mitchell, Sandy Denny, Janis Ian, Bert Jansch and John Martyn.

Paula’s vocals are impassioned and emotive. Her voice has a beautiful
timbre that does justice to the played repertoire.

Rene’s guitar playing is controlled and effective. The music gets the
right ambience through the use of alternative guitar tunings and
finger picking.

Highly recommended for people who think winter is the best season,
for everyone who knows someone called Edith, for everyone who is
sparkling with tiny red roses. Also for everyone who knows where
the time goes, everyone who is so far from home, everyone that likes
to ride shotgun and for everyone who thinks that love is blind.
