Soft Lashes is the dream pop project of Portland, OR-based musician, Michael Tenzer. Originally started as a chillwave project in 2013, Tenzer gradually shifted into 80s-infused synth pop, then eventually arrived at the project's current form: a split between surf/post-punk inflected dream pop and soft funk, hypnagogic bedroom pop. He's planning to release two different EPs that highlight each style. Tenzer's influences include Beach Fossils, DIIV, TOPS, Kindness, CASTLEBEAT, Wild Nothing, Jade TV, Hoops, Blue Hawaii, Washed Out and Rheya.
