Desperate for salvation, I stretch my hands to the light.
But all that returns is an endless abyss.
A monotonous void, a final dark love.
An existence of consciousness that seeks an end.

Infatuated with death, will you set me free?

No purpose, no meaning, the end is near me.
Ō THANATOS, angel of death, moonlit in the night.
From dust I arise, to dust I become, to the promised land by your side.
Living is hard, yet dying is harder, so shackled to life I began.
Thankful I should be, for this reality upon me; heretical I yet remain.
A crucible of passing, my fate to be shattered; for I grip tightly on life.
Hypocrite, coward, mortal and a fool, the love of existing is a boon that I pull.
Ō THANATOS, was my soul worth something?
Hopeful of that future in which I become nothing.
Ō THANATOS, I wish yet to live
A peaceful love with no strife is a dream I would lead.
Ō THANATOS, I yearn but to die.
For the End is the wish that I dream for tonight.
