Free Flow by Zulfugar Baghirov, Koray Ergunay

A breathtaking musical experience through dialogues between electric bass and reeds, Koray and Zulfugar explore the aural realm through spontaneity, executed and documented in real-time as they build their deep musical acquaintance. Recorded on dates surrounding their initial release “Live at Rhizome DC”, the pieces in “Free Flow” perfectly capture the musical evolution of the duo, perhaps even more diversely manifested through various saxophones, clarinet and retuned bass guitar. Truly a conversation between masters of imaginative improvisation.
