Most tracks here use some devices I made recently that share a theme. These devices explore an idea I had around if you could chop up a long recording into slices, play those slices back simultaneously, and control which slices you can hear, as if you had a crossfader that could sweep between N different sources. Control over the width of the fader (letting in one or several sounds at once) is part of this.

Since I was a kid I've been so so interested in electronic music. At 8, my first music purchase was a cassette tape of (Bill Laswell with) Herbie Hancock's Future Shock. That year I also got a computer at home that I could program sounds on (C64). That all conspired to plant the idea that *I* could be the one making the music.
