Yung.Raj embraces the dark and minimal side of Dubstep in his new EP "BASSW8"

What started as a love affair with the sub-low soul of dubstep in 2010 has culminated in this dark, minimal & raw project aptly titled "BASSW8". After carving out this style of sound for over a decade, Yung.Raj finally feels he's found the right tunes for the right drop. The name of the EP is inspired by this documentary called BASSWEIGHT that featured all the pioneers and the ogs that Yung.Raj watched as a kid which left a heavy heavy impact on him.

Yung.Raj cut his teeth as a beatboxer, producer and DJ from Hyderabad, India and is now recognized as one of the most formidable talents coming out of the country through his ethic and his wide spectrum of sonic explorations. Performing at almost all the biggest festivals in the country in 2019, Yung.Raj has made over 100+ releases ranging from lo-fi, hip hop beats, house music to fast paced club-friendly sounds like footwork, jungle and drum and bass.
