this epic yellow sea
dazzling my red eyes
a million crickets chirp
while I suppress a burp
summer sense around me
my shirt smells like an ashtray
I see a careless bumblebee
and feel a bit astray

mirror puddles shiver in the breeze
and I just keep walkin' with my worn out knees

yawn at the blue sky
where early birds fly high
weird stains on my left thigh
what a weird early bird am I?
oh I need to sleep 5 hours straight
and I'll take this path once more
my head hurts less - canola sea
this walk through colors will heal me
