Penguin Led by Xeming
After two years of interruption I began to produce new material, screened some recordings and almost got it done. But then - upon the recommendation of a friend - I listend to a band called GoGo Penguin for the first time. In some strange way they really got me, so I began to fool around with some themes/rhythms in a line-up of mainly drums, bass and piano. So this was kinda fun, because I'm a guitarist in the first place. I ended up with ten tracks that I wrote and recorded during two month in the summer of 2016.
There is a break at the middle of this album, where then it turns to a more sampling-based feeling. Nevertheless I liked the development that began with an impulse of a certain band, so I confirm this one as a tribute to GoGo Penguin.
