Hebel by Wyoming Toad
A tribute to Ecclesiastes, a book that stirred some of my earliest philosophical thoughts as a child, which left a permanent mark on my worldview. The songs try to convey the ambiguous and sometimes paradoxical mix of insights, images, and emotions the book can evoke, where verses can be, depending on how they're (de)contextualized and approached, interpreted as renunciatory or life-affirming, naturalistic or spiritual, gloomy or uplifting, distressing or soothing.
