The power of denial; the power to weave together a loose string of pleasant moments and ideas- to distract one's self from the inevitable stress of day to day life- this is where we find Darsha. Under a large red umbrella in the summer sun, on a beach facing an endless expanse of ocean and salt mist. We ride along with Darsha as she contemplates her situation- a boyfriend now turned into a robot, a job that seems hardly worth it to hold on to and an increasingly intense climate crisis, she's ready to let her mind wander. Through ambient textures, deep chest-pounding drums, and poetic song structures, Darshas Daydream is the soundtrack for a transcendental journey through the subconscious of Brodie himself. A lush sonic playground that isn't set on giving any rules, or being too precise.
