The album is a metaphor for life, the chaos, the relentlessness, the absurdity. Each song represents the stages and emotions a human goes through.

Wooden : Birth and the fear of the unknown coming into this world.

The Monster : Exploration and the trials of life starting to take their toll.

Off The Rails : Awakening, where the individual is faced with reality.

Warfield : Rite of passage, when the person learns to have courage.

Dooming Hour : The realization of the absurdity of life and search for meaning.

Children Of The Hills : Death, acceptance, and the beginning of a new cycle.

Special facts about this album:

The writing for this album began in march of 2019 and took over 5 years to complete.

The roller coaster seen in the artwork is based on the real wooden roller coaster ''Le Monstre'' located in Six Flags La Ronde in Montreal, Quebec.

The intro riff from The Monster was written by Youssef in a dream he had and recorded in order to test the BiasFX modeling software.

The second dive bomb heard on Children Of The Hills is actually the vocalist screaming with a distortion sound effect.

Most of Off The Rails was already fully composed back in 2011 and then reworked in 2019.

The guitar solo from Warfield was almost entirely written in MIDI several years ago before being rearranged on guitar.

The intro from Warfield is the outro bass part but reversed.
