In the middle of July 2021, heavy rain hit the west of Germany as well as parts of Belgium and the Netherlands. It caused massive floods which killed more than 180 people and destroyed whole towns. I will donate the revenue of this single for charity, specifically to the Aktion Deutschland Hilft which funds aid and relief organisations helping those affected by the floods. The cover photography shows the village of Dernau and in the distance the village of Rech in the Ahrweiler district, perhaps the most devastated area of the floods. I shot the photograph the last time I was there, on September 21 2020.
