i love psychology and this song is inspired by that. but also how PTSD and trauma can affect us. also my love for films, books and art in this genre.
i listened to Counting Crows a lot when i was younger and their songwriting is just incredible - the stories they tell, the emotions in Adam Duritz's voice, you feel like you know the characters they create. their song "Mr Jones" was the first song i could play on guitar by figuring out the chords by listening to the song. their album "August and Everything After" and their song "Round Here" has def inspired my own songwriting.
