I want to breath, I cannot breath
I penned a couple melodies
I wrote one in a minor key
I couldn't help but make another
Stupid sad sounding tune

And maybe when i'm happy
I could write a better song for you
But everyday it gets a little harder to do

I used to keep my room in check
So all my friends could make a mess
And wait til they got up and left
To clean it for the next event
That never came again

Piles of cans
That never seem to have an end
I guess I took for granted
All the time they spent on me

I never meant to be broken
I only wanted to open up
I guess I made you feel broken too
Now I pushed all the ones I love
Away

And maybe when I'm happy
We could hang out like we used to do
But everyday it gets a little harder
