Welcome to the sounds of Sri Metal, 'Agony' is a statement as we remain true to our path of exposing the verity of this matrix.
'Agony' is Whirlwind's second album, recorded, mixed and mastered in Sri Lanka at W-Studios Colombo. Produced and unofficially released back in 2007. Due to popular demand of all of you out there who missed this one, this is our faithful offering to you.
No record label, no sponsors, no investors, only a vision, four like-minded individuals and their friends making their mark in space and time.
We only hoped to explore our own limits further pushing ourselves into expanding the vision of ශ්රී Metal.

Whirlwind found its inspiration at a time where suicide bombers were storming the major cities of the island spreading terror with death and destruction dividing the whole nation. The band started focusing their energy towards projecting a unifying message through their art by producing the first multilingual project in the island to develop their own unique style of metal music called Sri Metal.
