Wistful Thinking by Whimsical Creature

Wistful Thinking is a collection of songs written over nine months in 2024 & 2025 on a range of unusual themes. Michael said; “I try to write about subjects that nobody else is writing about."

It’s a fully acoustic sound, using using only acoustic instruments. Whimsical Creature have gone for a much more folky approach. You won’t hear any Hammond organs, synths or electric guitars on this record.

What you will hear is lashings of jangly 12-string acoustic guitar, rhythmic piano, soaring flute melodies, shimmering autoharp and rich vocal harmonies.
