Recorded on 6th February 2025. A session arranging three of my Moog instruments: the Werkstatt, the MF-102 Ring Modulator (Big Briar model) and the Subharmonicon. In a densely woven configuration, which included the Werkstatt and MF-102's low-frequency oscillators driven into the audible range, as well as the MF-102's internal carrier oscillator, and even the Werkstatt's low pass filter driven into self-oscillation - East Coast analog synthesis, firing on all cylinders (with a little post-processing assistance from an Image Line Frequency Shifter).
Meant to be played at higher decibel levels, or (failing this) in headphones with a wide frequency response, "Groundwork" was an isolated piece recorded during a larger session, with the remainder of that session forthcoming as the "Incline Towards" double-album.
