Weld began one evening at the Canterbury on Capitol Hill in Seattle. When a few metal heads overheard some other metal heads talking about playing metal. Naturally, as metal heads do, they set up a time and date to jam and has since resulted in Weld's performing at clubs all over Seattle including, The Funhouse, The Comet, The Mix, The Highline, The Two Bit Saloon, and the El Corazon.
