Ava from Ava by Kristoffer Eikrem, Joe Nora

Kristoffer Eikrem is a beatmaker, trumpet & EWI player based in Oslo, Norway. After being granted the Oslo Award for Album of the Year in 2018 and being named young jazz musician of the year in 2012, Kristoffer Eikrem holds a reputation as a highly-skilled musician and beatmaker. He’s career in the jazz scene has led to him playing shows across large parts of Europe, India and Japan – and he has played at many of the major festivals in Norway. When it comes to his work in the beat scene, collaborations with notable figures such as HM Surf, Boukas, Psalm Tress, Metic, coldbrew, and fnonose can’t escape mention – along with the fact that he’s distinct brand of chillhop has been featured on a wide range of Spotify and Apple Music playlists.

For his debut Stereofox release, he unites with Joe Nora (collaborations with Chester Watson and Mick Jenkins) who sits at the forefront of the beat scene. With a performance for Sofa Sound Chicago under his belt, Joe Nora is also one of the few chillhop acts who have had the privilege of showcasing their beats live on the Sofa Sound platform.
