Making his debut on Wax Nomads, Melbourne based producer CB delivers a four-track EP of synth-drenched excellence, with hints of Italo influence and carefully programmed house rhythms featuring throughout.

Opening track 'Frequency Modulation' is a sun-kissed exploration of the Adriatic coast vibe, with bubbling arps and a meandering bassline that gives way to lush keys and a sultry spoken word female vocal. Following this is 'Absolion', which takes the same recipe and thrusts it further into evening territories. The title track 'Cruise Control' moves even deeper into the night, lead by a driving bassline that picks up the energy to peak-time levels. Rounding it out is 'Force Majeure' which takes a slightly darker approach, focusing on relentless drum programing and pitch-bent synth stabs.
