Magma by WANU
Wanu is the solo project of the swiss bassist Sébastien Pittet, whose debut album was released in 2021 (Altrisuoni - CH). An instrumental album blending jazz, ambient and atmospheric music. In 2023, he created a performance based on collective improvisation around his sound, Sébastien Guenot's live drawings and Mathias Durand's multicasting and sound processing: projet Magma. The performance takes place over a weekend in September 2023, and is recorded with a view to producing a live album that will capture this unique and ephemeral moment.

Sébastien Pittet is an electric basse & double bass player involved in jazz, wolrd music, metal and classical. He's got a bachelor in jazz performance and master in musical pedagogy at HEMU Lausanne. He played with many musical project between Canada and Switzerland as a sideman and more. Since 2018, he start writing his own music and called his new project WANU dedicated to the sound of el basse.
