Balanced on the line
The flesh and the divine
existence redefined
temporal form refined
a slave to none but time
a god that lives inside
now only squandered and left to the side to forget

beams of light enfolded
countless times and coded
by the laws of space and time
from the depths of nothing
marches endless something
esoteric grand design

so full of pride, praising our devolution
such worthless lives, content with this cosmic dilution
surrendered divinity, to dwell in the flesh
sequestered infinitely, only to live as a wretch.
only but a shadow, weakened and made hollow
self-imposed, we've grown content.

retrograde masquerade

wind the hands back, waste bestowal
we're becoming weak and woeful
detrimental to progression
solely at fault for regression

and those who see through the veil
watch as we burn, flounder and fail

children of the ether, now just ghastly creatures. horrid beings wasting life
