Apocryphal by Vinnie Sperrazza
This is the first album by Vinnie Sperrazza Apocryphal, and it's the first album featuring exclusively Vinnie Sperrazza songs. Guitarist Brandon Seabrook, alto saxophonist Loren Stillman, bassist Eivind Opsvik made the music come to life, and producer Geoff Kraly made the record come to life. Widely praised (Downbeat, The New Yorker, the Village Voice, the New York City Jazz Record, and All About Jazz) Apocryphal laid the foundation for Sperrazza's evolving musical conception, and gave the ensemble a name.
