Mythic Dawn by Velothian

Mythic Dawn is the sophomore release from Velothian. With this album, we chose to progress with the existing lore that we are pulling from (The Elder Scrolls). The album aims to keep the existing experimentation and ambience that made Path of the Incarnate so unique and go for a more triumphant and epic feel this time around. Fans of the first record can look forward to more unique instrumentation on Mythic Dawn including piano, throat singing, flute, horns, orchestral percussion, and more.

We cant thank our fans enough for the great feedback from the first record and what started as a black metal duo is now a full 5 member band for this next release.

Velothian is a 5-piece blackened metal band from Portland OR. Elements of post metal, folk, and shoegaze are woven together (often with the inclusion of instruments like horns, synth, cello, and hand drums.) we draw inspiration from nature, science fiction, and fantasy; most notably the Elder Scrolls series.
