Bag Juice by TYGAPAW
The next chapter in Tygapaw’s mission to amplify the voices of queer black women is the techno infused “Bag Juice”, the first single of her second EP “Handle with Care”. Rave inspired aggression permeates the entire track, from overdriven breakbeats to chord stabs dancing around the kick. Using patois to share her personal experiences as a queer Jamaican immigrant living in the US, “Bag Juice” is a sonic reimagining of the frustrations of being a kind and generous soul in a narcissistic world.
