Nocturna: the Ultimate Night Drive Experience
"Nocturna is a concept album taking place as a 40 minute drive to think about your life, the world, and our place in the universe. The idea came from a dream from a night in April or May 2018. I was driving down a tunnel with a friend while listening to a then non-existent Tuesday X album; Nocturna. The album featured the perfect music for any night drive, which in itself inspired the uneasy dream-like feel of the album as a whole.
3 of the 9 tracks revolve around the "West Virginia Saga", a surreal series of quite unfortunate, but true events told by Leslie.
The only way to truly experience this release is by playing it through your car speakers at night, preferably by yourself to really let everything sink in. Regardless, please enjoy this album however you may. The words mean the same no matter what and hopefully it'll mean something to you.
