Landed from Landed by Tristam Lass

The album opens with a straightforward narrative that introduces our protagonist and the situation they are confronted with. An airplane lands at an abandoned airport. The passengers exit the plane and make their way through the remains of what used to be a bustling hub indicative of the “old world.” This scene is set in the not-so-distant future, where humanity has obviously failed to hold civilization together. By the end of the song the protagonist has left the airport headed for parts unknown – also leaving behind the idea that the old world can ever exist again.
