99 PERCENT by Triptonikhan

This two track EP was created through collaboration with New York based artist Kim Boekbinder, who found Triptonikhan through ‘Occupy Everything’. ‘Anthem for Occupy Wall Street’ features lyrics and vocals by Kim. ’99 Percent’ features human microphone samples taken from the OWS protests. The song flow is oriented in such a way as to start the voice from a single point and radiate outwards to the masses, encompassing a variety of styles and genres in the process. Though the various encampments have been shut down, it is our hope that music helps usher in the next wave of the revolution.
