101. Live by Outmoded Electron

This live recording, made during a hot gig in Rome, was the final release by Outmoded Electron apart from one posthumous recording of previously-unused material. Two new members had just joined the band: electronic drummer Dr. Prober and multi-instrumentalst Zardoz. This live set offers humorous patter from Ekba and turbo-charged versions of songs from the band's albums through the years, making for a powerful capper to their career.
Unfortunately, the founding members decided over the course of fall 2003 that the band had said all it had to say, and disbanded before the year was out. With six members, the band's sound on this album is as full as it was ever to be. The guitars and electronic percussion predominate.

Toni G. Engle has been making homemade albums with many bands since 1986. Her current band is Fuzzballzz,a three-person group who make albums and sometimes films.
