True silver: the glint of the light off our silvery wedding rings, mine and my wife Anita's.
True silver: the silver emblematic of a 25th wedding anniversary.... Well, uh, this album was supposed to be ready for our twenty-fifth anniversary. But, uh, at 33 years and running, it’s a little late.
True silver: a good symbol altogether for our extraordinary marriage. In so far as ancient mystics found pure silver to be the most healing of elements, an augur of good fortune, and a guardian against malevolent forces, I would say yes!
This album is dedicated to Anita and our blessed union. There are tunes here I composed for our wedding. There are tunes in tribute to our families, and our dogs (the best children anyone could hope for). There are courtship songs that look back to the auspicious beginning of our relationship. There are tunes about Anita and her splendor. Every piece relates in some way to our marriage, the best part of my life!
I love you, my dear wife. You are so wonderful!
