I've been waiting all year and it's our week
I ain't gonna miss it for anything
The teacher's got a job for me and my pal
To get to the office come heaven or hail!

We've only got one job today!

To get the lunch count to the secretary's hand!

It was Wednesday and the week was halfway done
We were doing well, we were having fun
Then something happened which I cannot describe
A monster appeared before our very eyes

And said, "Attendance and lunch sheets are what I eat!"
And asked if we could kindly help him, please?
I felt a little bit of sympathy
Then we remembered our responsibility

We were fed up with that monster thinking he's so tough
That's when we finally said, "Enough is enough"
