Korean Chant from Sonic River by Tobias Meinhart, Sara Serpa, Charles Altura, Eden Ladin, Matt Penman, Obed Calvaire
While on tour in Korea, I was walking through the streets of Seoul when I heard the chants of monks from a cloister in the middle of the city. I was mesmerized for 30 minutes and recorded it with my phone. Once back in New York, I wrote this meditative song to capture that moment.
