*IMPORTANT* please read below, and the track descriptions - especially the descriptions for track four and track five.
every penny i make from this album will go to palestinian individuals or communities directly, it will not go to NGOs or non-profit organisations.
i cannot stress the importance of material support in times of genocide, but buying this album is not praxis.
the easiest thing that everyone should be doing is keeping the boycott. read through the bds movement's website (https://www.bdsmovement.net/) and follow their guidelines as best you can.
if you are able, attend protests. look online for them, one place i would recommend is https://palestinecampaign.org/events/ who also have a variety of resources on their website.
another possible way of playing your role is direct, disruptive action. https://palestineaction.org/
the suffering that is the reality of people living in gaza is unimaginable to us.
we have our bubble, and we see ourselves as seperate from their destruction. but it is our same planet. our world is burning and so is gaza, gaza is burning and so is our home. we hold the mindset of settlers: why do they not move? we do not understand the relationship of the idigeneous to the land. our world is burning, so we look to space. we take, and that is all. we look behind us and all we see is dead, empty land. but we do not mourn, or care, because it was ours, and we used it and now it is useless, so we leave it behind us. in the words of anna lowenhaupt-singh: "if we end the story with decay, we abandon all hope - or turn our attention to other sites of promise and ruin, promise and ruin."
all struggle is interwoven. abandon the capitalist mindset of value. see life, and love it, and care.
