Commute Commune by Time Attendant

A travelogue of the daily grind.

In 2016, purely as a coping mechanism, I began an ongoing series of paintings based around my daily commute, photographing and recording the sights and sounds that surrounded me, 5 days a week, 3 hours a day. As the series of paintings developed, I unconsciously began to apply these visual ideas to the music I was making at the time, only really realising what I had, when I sequenced the tracks into what was to become Commute Commune.

Each individual track explores density, space, tension and momentum respectively.
