Submersion by Tibor Tihon
Submersion is an album that I started writing in 2000 about the wonderful and curious world of seas and oceans. It is primarily inspired by the music of Jean-Michel Jarre and Vangelis with some references to Mike Oldfield's music. Over the years, I improved the mix and arrangement of the pieces and also added new material until it became a coherent whole, a soundtrack to an imaginary underwater journey in the oceans.
I dedicate Far Beneath the Surface to Mario Tomasky who was a big fan of the piece since its inception.
