A solo guitar exploration performed and recorded in late 2007 by Gown (aka Andrew Macgregor). Gown's style combines mantric aches, feedback and results in a sound that mixes Jandek's death dirges, traditional Indian kirana vocalizings, and Sonic Youth. Gown also performs with Thurston Moore as one-half of Bark Haze. From a long out of print miniature edition of 301 CD copies enclosed with pre-order copies of Gown's For The Maples LP on Three Lobed Recordings.
Three Lobed Recordings is a boutique record label that specializes all flavors of psychedelia. The label was started in 2000 and is largely operated by cats.
