Thomson Dawson grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area in the 60s–the epicenter of music that defined his generation. He took up the guitar and wrote his first song after watching the Beatles perform on the Ed Sullivan Show.

Thomson earned his way through college playing popular music in coffee houses and various bar bands as a lounge singer. Songwriting has been a life-long passion.
