Saliah is a gorgeous interplay of lush cinematic strings with soulful melodic breaks, riding strong waves cresting in the expansiveness of the ocean. I started writing this song during the pandemic—when things were feeling oppressive, confusing, and dark. Saliah gave me hope and timeless beauty, like the ocean. I was invited to be part of a global presentation via Intel--they chose this song--such an honor! A later addition post performance was to bring in Morillo in the final mix stage on drums and additional bass—I really wanted a live dynamic feel with the melodic breaks structure of the song. So excited to finally present Saliah to you all! It has been a deep journey to bring this piece to its present resting place, and I’m so pleased!
