Formed Feb ’76 The Wasps were one of London’s earliest punk bands & regulars at The Roxy, etc. Their first 2 singles, ‘Teenage Treats’ & ‘Can’t Wait 'Till '78’ are classic anthems of the UK punk era. In '79 they released their single "Rubber Cars" with RCA, but the band split. In 2019 The Wasps revamped with original singer/songwriter Jesse Lynn-Dean Their new album released 2021 is "Punk Prayer"
