“Shroud Eater"

I’m running down the street
With my shroud in my teeth
They shoulda buried me deeper,
Shoulda burnt my bones
So I couldn’t crawl up through the dirt and the stones.

There’s a red moon above
And I’m hungry as hell
For a mouth full of flesh
And the savoury smell
Of someone’s soul
And somebody’s gore and more and more
I could eat the whole damn neighbourhood (world)…
As I run down the street
With my shroud in my teeth.

Never felt so alive,
Never felt so dead,
Gonna dig up folks
Outa their beds.
Shoulda buried me deeper,
Shoulda burnt my bones
So I couldn’t crawl up through the dirt and the stones.
