I outdid myself this time. Usually, 90 minutes is my time frame, but today I did 2 hours. The thing with playing well is enthusiasm. You have to enjoy what you are playing to. This is why I often hated playing in cover bands, as I was forced to play music I didn't care for. It was only a job. This is music for pleasure. Music for experimentation, music for exploration and discovery. Finding new phrases and ideas, constantly.
I really got into the zone and kept going. This loop allowed me endless improv fuel, as it also not standard 4/4 time, but 5/4, giving it that jazz feel. I experimented with different tones, using my pitch fork pedal that allows me to play the regular note, and also adds a second note at a different interval, which makes the tone quite interesting. If buying this track, please buy Friday, Nov 27 as it is no revenue day on bandcamp. Thanks for your support!
I've been getting questions about artwork. Most photo artwork on my albums is courtesy of my wife, so if you're interested in a poster, let me know.
I am bionic. I have superhuman guitar playing abilities, and my mantra is better songs, stronger grooves, faster solos. Since my arms are powered with a duracell nuclear battery, I am able to play and improvise for over two hours at a time, beating all previous records set by non bionic humans. Music for working, the bathtub, or running in slow motion.
