Malevolant shrieks of the drowned not even the sirens from the darkest corners of the ocean could hope to equal. Black metal riffing like the evergrowing and slowing wash of the turbulent waters.

Drums beating across galleys, commanding even the most unwilling to its rhythm.

But be aware that the Oceans harbour not just brutality but also strangeness in its floods, overthrowing any and all preconceived notions one might have of this strange entity.

As waves of water crash violently against the rocks, so too do we hope these sonic waves crash the eardrums. As unsuspected as the sudden maelstrom underneath the ship, so too do we hope you will be pulled under and suffocated in the saline waters of Thermohaline!

Thermohaline is a 3 piece project with members hailing from such distant shores as Belgium, Portugal (Brazil, actually) and Argentina.
A creative process has been established that defies pre-conceived models, but that works and has resulted in what you can hear here, and in the full length.
At the time of the recording of this EP, only Nuno and Lennart were part of the project.
