Live EP by The Prayer Chain

This was originally (jokingly) titled 'Precious Moments'. We recorded the live songs at the end of a long year of touring. We were a bit tired, and starting to grow weary of the songs. You'll notice some variations (including bad heavy metal licks) from the original studio recording versions that were because of this. The darker, grungier side of things is in full effect here, as well. Our cover of "The Cutter" by Echo And The Bunnymen, one of our favorite songs by one of our favorite bands, seems to be more for our pleasure than the crowd's. These songs were mixed by Gene at the Green Room, which helped us decide to do that as well on 'Mercury'. "Chatterbox" was the odd-man-out from 'Shawl', and this version was spiced up by running the whole mix through two fuzz pedals. "Radio Friendly Stone" was supposed to be on a multi-artist acoustic compilation, but didn't make it due to some business fussiness. It definitely foreshadows the 'Mercury' sound and feel, almost a year before we even recorded that album.
