Plainclothes EP by The Nature Strip

Plainclothes is an EP released between the first two Nature Strip full-length albums (Stars Turn Inside Out and Presents). Due to the reaction to Cup of Tea, it was included on Presents - the other recordings are unique to this collection. Take Me Over is also on Presents in a very different version - the slower version here is an entirely different recording rather than a remix.

Other highlights include Where The Sirens Waited, which came about by Pete putting his mythological sea-going lyrics to a piece of music of John's. John then recorded a lo-fi demo which Pete tarted up for this release. The 90 seconds of Plainclothes became a live favourite, as did Pete's reflective Say It Like.

Released on CD by China Pig Records 2014 as CHI 1406. Now sold out/deleted.
