Pushpop Demos by The Moonshine
A couple, or pair if you will of newer songs composed during the course of moments that inhabited and were remembered again and again during the last few years. We laid these down as demos to book shows and such, but liked 'em so much we thought we'd share them with everyone. Recorded and mixed handily, graciously, properly and expertly by Nik Kemmer at Pushpop Studio in March of 2024 in Portland, Oregon.

Contemporary string band magic since winter 2012. The Moonshine has crafted a style all their own based on applying traditional stringband techniques to the unconventional, yet instantly familiar writing of Michael Gerard Levasseur. This is music born of the endless wonder of the open countryside, just as it is music meant to be heard blaring from brightly lit dancehalls on crowded city streets
