I started working on this album, when the covid pandemic started. I had just moved to a little mountain village in the Black Forest when the world changed for a while. I have always been writing songs but the last years before covid I was very involved in the art scene and had a lot of exhibitions, but I kinda got bored with it. So, the pandemic was a great change for me, because the art scene stood still and so did the world. And new music came alive. And this album...

The Moonchildren were formed in 1986 by Oliver Fauser.
He started working on the new album GRACE in 2021. During that time he also took care of his mother, who suffered from dementia, until she died. 6 months later his father died.
The result of all of this, loss and love, is the album GRACE, a tribute to the strength of the human spirit and the transformative power of music.
