The Funeral March of the Marionettes – a.k.a. The Funeral March – is a post-punk and gothic rock band formed in 1987 in Rockford, Illinois. Drawing inspiration from seminal acts like The Cure, Siouxsie and the Banshees, Bauhaus, and Joy Division, the band has crafted a distinctive sound characterized by dark, atmospheric melodies and introspective lyrics.
