Obsidian Strand by The Delazers
From the obscure perspectives of Ben Swiller & Vertigon.
The album, set in three movements, is a confluence of synths, glitched sounds, lush bass and crisp percussion. The project, executive produced by DeLazers member Ran Mecca, establishes a dark and brooding tone over its 29-minute run time. The album also features electric bass by Zach Phillips, vocal by Spartacus, Vertigon, Geeji and Elana Nelson; and a remix of Pharoahe Monch’s “Mayor.”
