Mechanism by The Deafening Silence

The strange thing about coming out of hard times is that you never really come out of it at all. It stays with you always a part of you. This project was meant as a 3 part album trilogy that I created during a very difficult time in my life. I had not intended to return to this project until I felt I needed it again and I certainly didn't think that I would need it so soon. But here we are. In the strange aftermath of some of life's challenges. When going through my own personal struggles, I forgot about the final and arguably most important period. The period of Reflection. Looking back on what's changed, whether things could ever be the same again, and taking stock of what you've lost.

The greatest of life's challenges can and will change you either for better or worse. And even if the outcome isn't what you wanted, there can always be an important lesson learned to take with you in your future endeavours. That's what this album is all about. The insomnia arch is finished. This work stands alone as a work of Reflection, Contemplation, and the many coping mechanisms we use to create positive change and outlooks on life.
