Formed in Chicago when Clark Honus and Gene Allen dropped out of sausage school to create their dream band, the BJC shed their tough blues roots, with the help of infamous manager Alvin Izoff, for a supremely laid-back sound that spawned six consecutive soft rock hits. Their subsequent onstage break-up at the Hollywood Bowl Animal Rights Now Benefit has since become the stuff of legend.
